**Placement within the wage range for this position is determined by years of experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions.**
- Provide care and behavioral services to assigned residents, including (but not limited to) one to one interventions and implementing established clinical care plans.
- Work collaboratively and cooperatively with the interdisciplinary team to create and maintain a respectful and therapeutic environment.
- Assist residents and families with adjustment to changes, including room changes. Assist families with engraving or marking resident personal items.
- Participate in resident care conferences and reviews as needed.
- Assist in crisis intervention as needed.
- Assist residents to maximize functional living skills.
- Assist with resident therapeutic groups and recreational activities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent.
- Three years’ experience providing care for individuals with chronic mental health issues, dementia, or intellectual and developmental disabilities in a long term care or behavioral health care setting.
- Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
