We are looking for a Medical Records Transcriptionist (24 hours per week) in our Elmwood Park, NJ location.
Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7pm-3:30am

As a Data Entry Typist you are responsible for verifying all patient demographics, entering clinical information and reporting molecular results.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Data Entry Typist you are responsible for verifying all patient demographics, entering clinical information and reporting molecular results.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Good organization skills
- Computer experience
- Typing skills - 30 words per minute
- Medical experience or medical terminology (a plus, but not required)
- 0-3 years data entry experience
- Extensive use of PC
- Prolong sitting
- Vision requires constant mental and visual attention to details
- Observation of work performance
- Review of attendance and tardiness records
- Review of competency
DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: Duties may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:
- Verification of registered patient/client data
- Entering patient clinical information into the system
- Entering patient results (STI molecular) into the system
- Releasing results and closing worksheets for (STI molecular)
- Composing emails to Client Services/Molecular Departments to confirm data
- Filing
- Use of Incident Tracking
