Medical Receptionist Job at To Healthy Feet Podiatry
To Healthy Feet Podiatry is looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our team in one of our NYC offices. The Medical Receptionist will greet and assist visitors and clients of the practice, assist with scheduling, and do recordkeeping. This position is in an office based in New York City.
The ideal candidate will deliver a professional and qualified first impression to all visitors. This person has excellent communication and customer service skills. He/she/they have a basic understanding of medical, administrative, and clerical procedures/systems and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
Responsibilities:
- Duties include but are not limited to answering phones, explaining benefits, preparing charts, faxing records, obtaining records, and obtaining prior authorizations.
Requirements:
- An associate degree is preferred
- 3 years prior experience in a medical receptionist role
- A high school diploma is required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Reliable, professional, courteous, and patient
- Excellent communication and writing skills
