County Correctional Health Services are looking for MA's-to work at both facilities Main Jail Downtown Sac. & RCCC -Juvenile Hall Southern Elk Grove
Overview:
Work in a detention/correctional facility, performs a wide variety of MA duties, including hands-on care, and assisting them in follow-up care, or duties as assigned.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Experience in treatment care with some of the following: addiction/detox, psych, infectious disease, wound care
- Knowledge of chronic conditions such as diabetes and asthma are beneficial
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association Provider or American Red Cross (with AED)
- At least two year's experience as a MA
- Work experience in Correctional/Detention setting is preferred
- Candidates must have good to excellent computer knowledge and skills utilizing an electronic medical record system
- Reliability and positivity is greatly appreciated!
Locations:
- Main Jail - Downtown Sac
- RCCC - Southern Elk Grove
Shifts:
- Monday - Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm; Possibly some weekends
