MECHANICAL PIPING CAD DESIGN TECHNICIAN

As a CAD Design Technician you will be responsible for designing and tracking all in-house CAD projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Design drawings using Auto CAD and/or Leica software
  • Familiar with 3D scanning – Leica software
  • Successfully coordinates projects
  • Leads, gives direction and delegates to the team
  • Attends all pre-construction meetings, establishes relationships with associated permitting departments
  • Responsible for tracking the status of all in-house CAD projects

Education, Skills, Experience Needed:

  • Associate Degree or Technical School Graduate or Tradesmen (Preferred)
  • 2-5 years’ experience in CAD Design
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, CloudWorx (Ultimate software AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Leica software
  • Familiar with 3D scanning – Leica software (Preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Adaptable to change with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be dependable, honest, and ethical
  • Ability to travel to job sites
