Kudzu Staffing is currently seeking Mechanical Fabricator to assist an engineering team to retro fit trucks.

Requirements of a Mechanical Fabricator:

Ability to work in a team environment and work independently with minimal supervision

Ability to remain organize and manage time efficiently

Ability to effectively communicate with various levels within the organization

Ability to read and understand blueprints, manuals, and specifications

Ability to walk, stand, bend and squat for long periods of time and consistently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds throughout the shift

Ability to use power & hand tools, custom tooling, saws, squares, calipers, jacks, turnbuckles, wedges, drift pins, pry bars, and hammers

Ability to position or tighten braces, jacks, clamps, ropes, bolt straps, or bolt parts in position for welding or mechanical attachment

Ability to move parts into position, manually or by using hoists or forklifts.

Ability to Mig Weld or the willingness to learn

Ability to pass background and drug test

Benefits of a Mechanical Fabricator:

$13-$18 per hour Depends on experience

6am-4pm Monday-Friday

Responsibilities of a Mechanical Fabricator:

Works effectively with other team members to ensure that quality and delivery expectations are met.

Follows policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.

Assisting the mechanical engineer with mechanical design and maintenance tasks.

Installing and performing diagnostic tests on mechanical systems.

Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs.

Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.

Optimizing mechanical efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings.

Training co-workers on the safe and efficient use of mechanical machinery and equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
