The Role You Will Play: Mechanical Engineer
- Manage the design, install and implementation of new equipment
- Develop the timeline of projects and establish needs to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
- Spearhead all phases of new equipment installation through all phases of the project
- Fix any issues that surface from daily project problems for completion
- Manage progress reports of all projects and report to Engineering Manager
- Plan preventive maintenance and training procedures for new equipment and review existing documents
- Work with contractors to ensure accurate installation
- Observe cost to budget by negotiating with suppliers to achieve success
- Create Plant sustainability and promote continuous improvement by recognizing future projects
- Other tasks as assigned by management
Background Profile: Mechanical Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering PLUS 5+ years of related/project management experience
OR Associate degree with 10 years of related/project management
- SolidWorks or AutoCAD experience preferred
- SAP and Advanced Excel experience preferred
- Knowledge in electric and programming preferred
- Self-motivated: able to work independently
- Exhibit excellent communication skills and courteous behavior with the ability to facilitate discussions with a variety of personnel
