Meat clerks are responsible for weighing, wrapping, and pricing meat for customers. Re-stocking cases according to the shelves and product on the store floor.
Set up and break down of service case when required. Learn how to use a grinder. Training for meat cutting will be provided to individuals willing to learn.
Exposure to temperatures: < 32 degrees (freezing), 32-40 degrees (refrigerators), and ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
Working knowledge and adherence to safety standards along with the practice of food safety principles.
Food handler’s certification preferable. Maintain department cleanliness and follow food certification regulations.
Ability to lift 50lbs safely. Minimum age of 18.
