Materials Planner Job at CUMMINS-MERITOR
This position is responsible for developing required production schedules and ensures all interplant and customer sales order requirements are coordinated between customer demand & materials department to achieve customer credibility thru on-time delivery and customer schedule compliance.
Develop efficient production schedules. Develop material parts plan to ensure product is produced in compliance with Bills of Materials Ensure daily customer order board releases are scheduled on a timely basis Coordinate customer releases with customer Effectively resolve customer complaints when required Efficient use of transportation carriers Review B.O.M. specs, inventory status, daily prod. counts, follow-up on machine downtime Communicate customer shipments to customer Responsible for quality and has the authority to stop production if necessary to correct quality. EDI load verification Coordinate with OSP Suppliers on Part Schedules and Deliveries Ensures that all safe work practices are followed per the Health and Safety Management System, Incident Management Plan and ISO Environmental System. Fully support ongoing site Safety Certification Process to ensure “audit ready” status. May be asked to perform other duties as required by business needs.

Pay: $54,200.00 - $81,300.00 per year
