- Fres-co Systems USA located in Red Oak, Iowa is looking to hire a Material Handler/Forklift Operator.
- Shifts Needed: 2-2-3 Schedule (Day and Night Shift Open) ($3500 Sign-On Bonus).
- Job type: Full-time
Job Summary:
- Hourly, non-exempt, non-commissioned, non-supervisory position.
- The person in this position is responsible for efficiently transporting materials to and from designated locations, responding to press/laminator needs, and maintaining waste gaylords and fiber core pallets.
- Reports to shift supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Complete daily forklift inspection form.
- Stages materials at the presses for current and upcoming jobs.
- Organizes and utilizes available space to create a good material flow.
- Scans in all materials to their current location.
- Moves WIP and returns to stock materials from the presses and stores them in designated locations.
- Hangs all hold and disposition tags issued by the QA lab.
- Maintain work area and equipment in an orderly manner.
- Work in accordance with all company policies, GMPs, and environmental regulations.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Forklift certification.
- Problem-solving, detail orientation, and organizational skills.
Physical Dexterity:
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Able to repeatedly climb on and off of a forklift.
- Visual acuity, hearing and speaking.
- Good depth perception.
- Must be able to see and hear alarms.
Environment and Scheduling:
- Normal working hours are 8 hours shifts Monday-Friday.
- Fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Work overtime as needed.
- May be required to work weekends.
- Plant working environment.
