Job Description:
Pleatco Filtration, a division of Pentair is searching for candidates with a "can do" attitude to fill our position of Material Handler for our Distribution Department.
1st shift 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
A successful candidate will be a valued member of the materials management team and will carry out various tasks in our climate controlled factory.
Specific Responsibilities:
  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
  • Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
  • Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
  • Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
  • Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity, placing materials in stock.
  • Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
  • Loading and Unloading trailers.
  • Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections
Qualifications/Skills/Abilities:
  • Forklift experience
  • Prior experience in a picking/packing environment
  • At least two years in a manufacturing/Warehouse environment
  • Ability to lift more than 40 pounds without assistance
  • Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
  • Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods of time
  • Willing and able to work at heights, using ladders or lifts
  • Bilingual is a plus
