Job Description:

Job Summary- The primary function of this job is to inspect product from production to be wrapped and loaded for the customer as needed to maximize quality and efficiency.

Job Duties

• Operating the computer-It is your responsibility to ensure you have the correct product entered, inspect the label for a good clear print, and keep labels in sequence.
• Labeling the yarn unit-Place each label neatly in the defined locations of each pallet, verifying correct information is on each label.
• Staging the yarn in container-Scan completed pallets to be staged or loaded in containers, make sure barcodes on scan sheet match the barcodes on pallet.
• Packing Material and Housekeeping-Unload and put away all inventory as received to include tray packs (Pallets) in designated areas, Ensure all used wax is taken to designated area, all trash must be removed from boxes and thrown away, replenish wax when needed, replenish tubes if needed, make sure you are aligning packages properly on pallets as each layer is being packed, replenish pallets as required, assist shipping coordinator with live loads, sweeping warehouse floors, emptying trash throughout plant and warehouse, and other various duties when needed.
• Maintain Forklift-perform a daily shift sheet inspection, all forklifts must be on charger when not in use, clean forklift and blow off weekly, use every precaution when operating your forklift, make sure all ladders are in proper locations after use, put all ladders back in proper locations, always sound the horn when driving a tugger or forklift through the facility.
• Other Various Duties throughout facility

• Ability to work in a cotton dust environment with temperatures of 85-87 degrees.
• Ability to follow instructions, reliability, & willingness to work with a team.
