Soccer Shots is a best-in-class, engaging children’s soccer experience with an emphasis on character development for children 2-8 years old. As we continue to grow, we are currently seeking an ambitious, creative Marketing Coordinator to join our tight-knit and dedicated team.
The objective of the MC will be to manage our marketing initiatives, promote Soccer Shots at current locations (both childcare/school and public locations), and increase awareness of the Soccer Shots brand in the North Sacramento region.
The Marketing Coordinator serves the team by helping with the following duties ( to include but not limited to):

The objective of the MC will be to manage our marketing initiatives, promote Soccer Shots at current locations (both childcare/school and public locations), and increase awareness of the Soccer Shots brand in the North Sacramento region.
The Marketing Coordinator serves the team by helping with the following duties ( to include but not limited to):
- Strategically planning and managing our social media campaigns across all channels – Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, & TikTok – driving continuous growth, reach and engagement
- Creating and editing relatable, fun and inspiring videos for TikTok & Instagram Reels
- Keeping up to date on current trends and proactively producing content across all channels to engage and inspire our audience and grow brand awareness
- Outreach to local influencers & collecting user generated content
- Create initiatives that increase awareness of the Soccer Shots mission
- Research and attend community events
- Postcard/Flier drop-offs at local businesses & schools Soccer Shots does not serve
- Monthly Newsletters
- Schedule and set-up tables at schools Soccer Shots serves to promote seasons
- A passion for Soccer Shots’ mission: To leave a lasting impact on every child we serve
- 1-2 years of marketing experience preferred
- Have proven ability and confidence to engage with the public
- Have proven experience in growing a brand’s following and engagement across all social channels
- Be curious, insight-driven and customer centric, understanding our target audience’s wants and needs, and creating an emotional response
- Be innovative and creative with photography/videography and captioning to create interest and attention
- Ability to positively represent our brand and Core Values to team members & coaches, business partners and the public
- Be self-directed, able to prioritize and problem-solve, attentive to detail, and enjoys working in a fast paced environment
- Strong written, verbal and communication skills
- A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to work well in a small team

- Part-time: 20-25 hours per week
- Job location: Soccer Shots office (Citrus Heights)
- CREATE YOUR OWN SCHEDULE – Examples: Monday through Friday, 4-5 hour workday; Monday through Thursday, 5-6 hour workday, etc. Hours are flexible. A bi-monthly or monthly evening or weekend will be expected to attend marketing events.
- Reliable Transportation: Must have a safe and reliable car, valid license, car insurance and clean driving record. **Traveling will be required and will require use of personal vehicle**
