Job Title: Marketing and Media Coordinator

Reports to: A select Group of Real Estate Brokers

Location: Santa Ynez Valley, Santa Barbara area, CA

The Role

We’re looking for a self-motivated Marketing Coordinator to direct and organize our marketing efforts and to expand our social media presence. You’ll play a key role in prioritizing and turning ideas into successful marketing tools. You’ll be a partner in establishing the branding and exposure for long established Santa Ynez Valley real estate brokers. You’ll help produce social media and marketing campaigns that are driven by interesting and informative content. You will have the chance to make a tangible and meaningful impact.

Your Impact

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

Responsible for formulation and execution of Marketing and Social Media Communications plans at the direction and with the input of the Broker team members. Initiating creative media campaigns, preparing and presenting content briefs, maintaining production schedules, and publishing digital content on-time.

  • Directing the design and publishing of content including email, the internet, social media, digital signage, mobile, and others as identified.
  • Weekly team member meetings with brokers.
  • Regular reporting and check-ins.
  • Analyze data to assess performance and provide strategic support on communication timing, campaign effectiveness, and additional marketing planning.

CREATIVE CONTENT DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT AND PUBLISHING:

  • Developing content for a variety of communications vehicles which could include press releases, news posts, videos, social media, etc.
  • Maintain brand consistency on all collateral, creative, templates, signs, advertising.
  • Manage and publish content to all social media channels
  • Publish PR content with PR agency
  • Assist and coordinate content development (creative assets) for websites, and video projects.

PRODUCTION AND PARTNERSHIP

  • Report progress and status at weekly team meeting with Brokers.
  • Develop, maintain, revise and update contact lists including email, text and physical address.
  • Maintain asset libraries.

INNOVATION & BEST PRACTICES

  • Identify and implement key trends in the digital landscape
  • Ensure ongoing development, evaluation and improvement of content creation, communication planning, and digital channel development.

  • A creative, flexible problem solver who loves to write and will optimize and adjust copy to resonate with the target audience.
  • Have an attention to detail, a level of consistency and creativity that enables you to generate work products with minimal guidance or supervision.
  • Have an understanding of organizational processes and a knack for improving them, identifying and filling gaps where needed

We’d love to hear from people with education and/or experience in marketing and social media. Some real estate background would be a positive but not required.

Preferred Work Experience:

  • Writing/editing/experience in marketing, social media or related field.
  • Comfortable with both short and long form copy writing
  • Familiar with platform management for web and email

Skills/Competencies:

  • Conceptual, creative thinker with a passion to learn from the Broker team
  • Ability to lead and drive discussions/conversations
  • Exceptional project management, organization, strategic planning, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in both Apple and Microsoft
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
