Manufacturing-Textile Loom Technician Job at Staffing Associates
Staffing Associates is looking for a *Textile Loom Technician* for a local family owned textile company in the Gaffney, SC area. They are willing to train the right person for this position. Textile Loom Technician Job Duties Include:
- Repair, maintain, and set up assigned machines (looms) to produce First Quality fabric.
- Walk assigned looms daily and check quality.
- Troubleshoot and repair looms listed on the flag sheet and record information on the flag sheet.
- Perform daily and weekly lubrication while keeping oil off the fabric.
- Perform one revision per shift and check settings and part wear.
- Install new patterns as scheduled.
- Repair breakdowns as they occur.
- Assist other fixers with breakdowns and pattern changes when needed.
- Must have the ability to read gauges, scales, parts manuals, operation and repair manuals.
- Ability to communicate with other employees and management.
- Ability to perform the skills of a weaver.
- Any other duties assigned by their Supervisor.
The company is will to train the right person for these positions will a payrate starting at $17/hour. Pay DOE

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
Experience:
- Textiles: 1 year (Preferred)
- Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
