Rousselot is the world's leading producer of gelatin and is a recognized partner in the pharmaceutical and food industries.

The Peabody facility has openings for a Manufacturing Technician Trainee (Night Shift). This role is responsible for operating production equipment in the gelatin manufacturing department with growth opportunities in four different areas.

Job Duties:

• Follow gelatin production standard operating procedures (SOP's) as instructed
• Respond to process upsets and alarms appropriately
• Responsible for TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) in appropriate Gel Manufacturing areas
• Mix and add chemicals as instructed
• Monitor water flow and temperatures
• Perform filter maintenance
• Participate in monthly training sessions for Safety, Quality & Food Defense
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing Training and partake in Internal 5S Audits

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• The Rousselot plant operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• 12-hour shift with expectation of overtime as needed. (6:00pm-6:15am)
• Work Schedule 3 DAYS ON / 3 DAYS OFF
• Due to the 24/7 nature of the plant, work on weekends and holidays are requirements of the position.

Requirements:

• Dependable and on time for all shifts
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Quality mindset
• Safety as first priority
• Attention to detail
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, food manufacturing a plus
• Fork Lift experience or Hoisting license is given special consideration
