Position: Manufacturing Production Assistant
FLSA Exemption: Non-Exempt
Location: Maumee, Ohio
Status: Full-time
Essential Duties:
- Support product development from start to finish based off of supervisors visual and verbal instructions by being able to mimic each task and repeat throughout the working day
- Execute assembly tasks with specific verbal guidelines for each part from the Supervisor
- Ability to maintain quality control of work in progress
- Ability to keep work area clean and organized at all times
- Ability to keep up timeliness for each task and safety a priority at all times
- Able to communicate with other team members concerning problems and possible solutions.
- Being able to meet deadlines and stay goal oriented
Requirements:
- Hardworking and self-motivated; must be able to work at a fast pace with high accuracy and minimal supervision.
- Have strong attention to detail including continually checking for completeness of work order requirement and components.
- Comfortable working in an environment with production targets.
- Achievement-oriented - enjoys taking on challenges
- Ability to follow unwritten and oral instructions and procedures.
- Drug free workplace.
- Dependable/reliable
Experience and Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- All applicants must have legal authorization to work in the US
Additional Requirements:
- Using manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, gross motor skills and fine motor skills.
- Performing repetitive movements including simple grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation.
- Reaching, bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, pushing and pulling
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
