Manufacturing Process Engineer Job at Leddy Group
A successful global company is now hiring for their Manufacturing Process Engineer role in Laconia, NH. You’ll support the manufacture of this company’s innovative thermal systems. This is a direct-hire role in a low-key environment.
Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Process Engineer
- Create and modify drawings, routes, and BOMs to support manufacture of new and existing parts
- Help determine the best possible work order routing to facilitate shortest manufacturing cycle time, highest quality, and lowest possible shop cost
- Provide the necessary support to all departments through MRB activities, RMA authorization, and other quality directives
- Coordinate documentation for revision changes
- Recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Analyze manufacturing requests for validity and process amendments to BOMs and/or routings as required
- Perform miscellaneous projects and duties as assigned, including limited work instructions and guidance to other Process Engineers and CAD drafters
Qualifications of the Manufacturing Process Engineer
- BS in technical area with 0-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Background in machining and fixturing with knowledge of machine shop practices
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques
- Experience in tolerancing and GD&T
- Knowledge of SolidWorks, MS Office Suite, ERP systems, statistical analysis tools
- Excellent time management, project management, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
