Our plant in Fairfield, California, currently has an opportunity for a Manufacturing Operator – Packaging - First Shift (6:00AM - 2:30PM, Mondays - Fridays, and Occasional Saturdays as needed). This location is Abbott’s only manufacturing plant that makes its Zone Perfect and Glucerna nutrition bars, with 180 million bars produced annually. THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Manufacturing Operator – Packaging (First Shift) wraps, packages and labels finished product by performing the following duties. This position will work on-site at our Fairfield, California manufacturing plant.

• Operate and sustain packaging equipment per specification

• Inspect finished product as it enters packaging area

• Perform packaging equipment configuration setting change

• Feed product to conveyors and/or other feeding devices, and unloads packaged product

• Inspect filled container to ensure that product is packaged according to specifications

• Replenish packaging supplies and returns after completion of work order

• Rotate between positions within the bar packaging production lines

• Perform cleaning and sanitization or sterilization of parts and equipment used in manufacturing processes

• Perform other work-related duties as assigned
