In your Manufacturing Operations Manager role, you’ll help us deliver better care for billions of people around the world.


Incumbent reports to the Sr. Manager Manufacturing Operations and is accountable for all aspects of the manufacturing processes. Management responsibilities include the operations, maintenance, logistics, engineering, quality and systems functional areas for the Product System. Incumbent is responsible for establishing organizational structures that promote employee engagement and empowerment at all levels and attainment of Lean Manufacturing objectives and values. Incumbent communicates directly with business unit management, staff, and customers in the attainment of business and customer requirements.


Responsibilities:

  • Drive continuous improvement activities for safety, quality, delivery, cost and engagement within the Product System in alignment with our values of zero loss.
  • Provide troubleshooting support and leadership for the Product System
  • Two base machine assets (inventories, equipment, and personnel) properly managed, maintained, and developed.
  • Positive work environment maintained to promote safety, housekeeping, and employee relations.
  • Provide informal and formal coaching and mentoring for team members with the intent to build capability for a flexible manufacturing environment.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:


  • This position requires knowledge and ability typically associated with a Bachelor’s degree.
  • The incumbent also must have broad knowledge and significant experience in the technical and operations areas and a working knowledge of multi-functional issues.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills and the ability to excel in a team environment is essential.
  • Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing base experience and a minimum of three year of leadership experience is preferred along with Lean manufacturing experience.
