The Manufacturing Manager reports to the Plant Manager and is accountable for safe, reliable, productive operation of three operating units. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead continuous improvements in processes and people, driving toward the culture defined by the site vision.

Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships and trust with team members across multiple organizations and companies to ensure short-term and long-term business needs are delivered
  • Prioritize multiple demands and allocate resources to the highest priorities
  • Provide high level oversight to three teams responsible for separate, unique operating units
  • Set clear expectations for all operations employees and ensure those expectations are met
  • Champion change management in the areas of safety, environmental stewardship, and productivity
  • Role model and create an environment that expects company values – honesty and integrity, diversity and inclusion, customer focus, performance driven teams
  • Implement / utilize processes that enable employees to realize their full productive potential in support of the organization’s goals
  • Provide leadership to technical and non-technical team members through coaching, development and accountability

Requirements

  • B.S. in Engineering Discipline, with a minimum of 15 years related manufacturing experience, including 10 or more years of management experience
  • High level of emotional intelligence, with ability to build relationships and engage employees at all levels in the organization to drive improvements
  • Exceptional leadership skills demonstrated through employee coaching, development and accountability
  • Sound judgment and analysis skills to make the right decisions to manage risk and deliver safe, reliable, productive operations
  • Passion to lead change in health, safety and environmental stewardship
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of OSHA PSM
  • Experience working in Union represented manufacturing facility
  • SAP proficiency is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $145,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
