Position Overview

The Manager, Supplier Performance Management, a fully remote role, will report directly to the Vice President, Network and Performance Management in the Supply Chain function. This role plays a critical part in driving strategies and processes to elevate performance of our overall supplier network. This individual specifically is responsible for establishing the process, cadence and performance metrics to manage optimal performance for us and our partners, engage in building mutually beneficial relationships, foster accountability for results and influence our supply chain partners to deliver on SimpleTire pillar goals and strategies.

This role requires a results-driven leader who builds a strategic roadmap and creates the support and internal relationships crucial to impactful execution. The role also requires an entrepreneurial and independent thinker with agility and ingenuity that elevates their supply chain impact and a proven background to build execution excellence across the supply chain and deliver to commitments.

Essential job functions:

Strategic Responsibilities

• Defines the Performance Management strategy for our supplier network by leading frequent exercises to segment suppliers and defining the performance management framework for each segment.
• Leads the buildout of Supplier Performance analytics by partnering with our Analytics e & Digital teams and key internal executives and stakeholders.
• Collaborates with our Sourcing team to enhance contract language to include service level agreements and develop incentive/reward structures to enable SimpleTire’s growth, profitability and service level with SimpleTire’s customers

Develop and Deploy Processes

• Works with our Sourcing team and other internal stakeholders to establish a process for Top-to-Top performance management meetings with our suppliers. Own the structure, cadence and content to guide the meetings.
• Responsible for Supplier Performance monitoring and scorecarding based on standards and agreed upon contractual performance measures and metrics.
• Uses data and analytics, identifies performance and process gaps, and implements action plans that will result in improved supplier performance across KPIs.
• Runs and leads the internal governance processes to govern standards and escalations.
• Performs and leads root cause analysis (RCAs) as required to correct and mitigate priority performance gaps.

Qualifications

Minimum Job Requirements

• 5+ years of Supply Chain, Procurement, Supplier Management or Logistics, & Data Analytics experience.
• 2+ years data and analytics experience in an ecommerce or omni-channel supply chain environment.
• Ability to navigate and manage the complexities inherent in managing a portfolio of business that is constantly evolving at rapid speed.
• Strong background in data-driven decision making coupled with a deep understanding and appreciation for consumer experience.
• Strong analytical background with demonstrated experience utilizing data to drive decisions. Advanced SQL Skills preferred.
• Experience with analysis structuring and visualization tool sets such as PowerBI, Tableau preferred.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

• Ability to sit for long periods of time.
• Talking through the computer for many meetings and one-to-one conversations
• Continuous viewing of a computer monitor and data entry.
• Travel as necessary (<10%).
