Responsibilities:

• Review team members' work and communicate with them to provide them the help they need.
• Designs and creates intricate program logic to meet certain programming requirements.
• Maintains, modifies, and upgrades current systems to satisfy user needs and improve program effectiveness.
• Translates the answers offered by system designers into comprehensive requirements for the creation of systems and programs.
• Analyzes, assesses, and adapts planned or existing systems, as well as associated devices.
• Modifies and describes software code in order to fix bugs or improve program functionality.
• Creates and fixes computer code for programs that are already in use.
• Evaluates both new and current programs to make sure they are operating properly.
• Completes the lifecycle documentation for both newly developed and old software programs, making updates to reflect new user needs and fixing any problems or errors that were found during the testing process.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or software development, or an equal level of work experience
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in formal academic/technical training in software development.
• Experience with relational databases, such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or PowerBuilder.
• Knowledge of C#, C, C++, Visual Basic, VB.net, and relational databases.
• Knowledge of web application development technologies such as JSP, ASP.NET, PHP, Ruby on Rails, and web service architecture.
• Knowing how to implement solutions for the healthcare sector using object-oriented analysis and design.
• Personal computer experience should include working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook at the intermediate level at a minimum.
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to problem solve.
• Must have a track record of producing work that is highly accurate, demonstrates attention to detail.
