The Manager, Partnership Marketing role will be primarily responsible for managing their assigned client portfolio by planning, executing, servicing, measurement reporting and day-to-day management of partnership activation while supporting the Director, Partnership Marketing and the Sponsorship Team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Represent Angel City FC as the main contact for assigned corporate partners
  • Manage sponsorship activations by working with other departments to ensure a high level of execution, best-in-class customer service and fulfillment of corporate partner deliverables that may include but not limited to, IP rights, game day and in-market activations, television, radio, digital, social, print media, tickets, hospitality, and special events
  • Plan and execute events, promotions, experiences, and community activities on behalf of partners and Angel City FC
  • Develop and implement new and creative marketing and activation strategies based on partners’ needs and potential new revenue and upsell opportunities
  • Work with internal departments to compile and share research, data, success rate and market trends with partners
  • Consistently evaluate current partner goals and objectives and recommend additional assets for their consideration
  • Contribute to and manage assigned department projects which may include: signage tracking, digital implementation and frequency of partner posts, media inventory management, etc.
  • Build and support relationships with all agencies, day to day contacts and account executives on behalf of Angel City FC
  • Create and present execution recaps and selling presentations
  • Attend all future home games and special events to manage assigned partner activations
  • Stay up to date with market trends and provide recommendations to department and applicable clients to ensure Angel City FC continued success and forward thinking

Required Experience & Skills
This member of the Angel City FC front office must embody the spirit of Angel City FC to push the boundaries of what it means to be a soccer club for fans, community, and as a partner.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of high-level account management and/or partnership activation experience; sports sponsorship preferred
  • Ability to establish strong relationships, effectively manage expectations and provide information with extraordinary courtesy and tact while safeguarding confidentiality
  • Strong communication skills including written, verbal and interpersonal
  • Ability to establish priorities and courses of action for handling multiple tasks and projects
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high level attention to detail
  • Expert time management skills
  • Self-starter mentality
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of sponsorship measurement tools and processes
  • Ability and desire to work in fast-paced environment
  • Be a team player and contribute to the general success of Angel City FC across all facets, including positively representing Angel City FC among all corporate and community partners
  • NWSL and professional soccer knowledge preferred
