We are actively seeking a Manager of Learning and Development to join our growing firm! The position is based in Parsippany, NJ office but can be 100% Remote.

Summary:

Responsible for creating and implementing training programs and overseeing the development of careers. Sets performance metrics, evaluates productivity, and helps workers create long-term career plans within an organization.

Primary responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor training programs within the Firm - Tax, Accounting and Auditing, all departments in the firm.
  • Supervise technical training for staff.
  • Coordinate/conduct new hire orientation/onboarding sessions.
  • Develop and implement ongoing level training curriculum.
  • Oversee the creation of brochures and training materials.
  • Oversee the development of multimedia visual aids and presentations.
  • Create testing and evaluation processes.
  • Maintain database of courses and course materials.
  • Prepare and implement training budget.
  • Evaluate needs of company and plan training programs accordingly.
  • Provide the Firms departments with classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops.
  • Coordinate continuing education training.
  • Coordinate leadership development education.
  • Provide logistical support, course development, delivery, evaluation, process measurements, and cost management.
  • Plan the implementation and facilitation of activities and events, budget spending, material production and distribution, and other resources to ensure that operations are managed within authorized budgets.
  • Assist with the development of strategic plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • MUST have experience working either in an Accounting or Public Accounting Firm
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Flexibility, high energy, and a positive attitude
  • Strong MS Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • This position will report into the Human Resource Director.
