Job Description:

You will be responsible for running the Accounting Services Unit of our consulting firm. You will “quarter back” the accounting operations and ensure that our junior accountants perform and deliver. You will help execute the firm’s vision and monitor and improve client service.

You will be expected to help transition the accounting services unit into an information technology-focused, cloud-based entity.

We expect that within 3 years or less, you would assume the role of Director of Accounting Services with a chance to become a shareholder of the firm. Your contribution to the refinement and attainment of the vision, expansion, and profitability of the client portfolio, would make this much shorter than envisioned.

Qualifications and experience:

• CPA preferred but not a must.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Extensive accounting and reconciliation experience, a must.
• Financial management experience, preferred.
• Writing and verbal communication skills – at this level and in this role, these are expected to be excellent. You will be required to interact with clients and maintain client relationships.
• 10 years working experience with at least 5 in a practicing firm or corporate accounting environment.
• Ability to learn, relearn, and unlearn, a must. As the quarterback of our accounting operations, innovation, adaptability, agility, and perseverance are qualities that come with the territory.
• Interest in learning new things, reading, and researching.
• A passion for growth, sales, marketing, and excellence is a must. If you are content with mediocrity, this may not be the opportunity for you.
