We are currently searching for a dynamic individual to become the Maintenance Worker for our company. This position provides maintenance for assigned property. Internal candidates, please fill out the internal application.
All positions require pre-employment drug screening and background check.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Performs minor and routine painting and other needed maintenance including remodeling of facilities as needed. Remodeling may include framing, drywall installation and repair, texturing and finish carpentry.
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums units, hallways, stairs, offices and restrooms on a regular basis.
- Cleans snow and debris from sidewalks; mows lawns, trims hedges, remove weeds, rakes and disposes of leaves, etc.
- Notifies supervisor of needed repairs, additions to lighting, heating and ventilating equipment.
- Coordinates with supervisor supply ordering and restocking.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
One-year experience providing maintenance services.
Prefer additional experience with framing, drywall installation and repair, texturing and finish carpentry.
Other:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to lift and operate various types of maintenance equipment. Must be able to reach, bend stoop, push shovels, stand on ladders, etc. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed indoors and outside approximately 25% of duties are spent outdoors.
