Position: Maintenance Technician

Qualifications:

· A minimum of three years of comparable maintenance experience.

· A High School Diploma or equivalent

· A clean driving record for the past seven years and a valid driver’s license

· Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, climb a ladder, bend, stoop and kneel. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Essential Functions:

This position is responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the physical plant, including residential units, school building, administration building, maintenance building and all properties that remain with the agency.

The responsibilities include:

· Ensuring the day-to-day maintenance of the physical plant including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, landscaping and general repairs

· Analyzing and solving general maintenance problems

· Responding promptly to work orders

· Addressing building safety concerns in a timely manner

· Purchase and secure maintenance supplies as required

Must also be able to pass FBI, PA Criminal and PA Child Abuse Clearances.
