Job Description
Position Summary
Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service.
Major Responsibilities
- Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Strong electrical/electronic skills preferred. Ability to troubleshoot drive and control system problems and perform repairs to same is preferred.
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Records maintenance activity.
- May work with outside contractors when necessary.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
- All other duties as assigned.
Scope of Job
- Requires effective communication skills with internal and external resources.
- May require overtime to maintain equipment in working order.
- Experience with Allen Bradley process controls is a plus, along with basic hydraulic system process and controls knowledge.
Minimum Qualifications Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Technical School Training is a plus.
- Five or more years of experience in manufacturing environment unless waived by Supervisor.
- Must be able to effectively communicate to outside contractors when external resources are necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $32.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekend availability
