Job description
AAE is a growing company looking to add to the Maintenance Team for
2nd and 3rd shift
to teach our current skilled and basic maintenance team members while continuing to expand your knowledge on the job and continue your growth within our company. You will work under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, supports operators, installing, repairing, and maintaining plant assets. Efforts are fully aligned with supporting and improving Safety, Quality, and Production requirements.
The Maintenance Tech functions include:
Preventative maintenance programs including troubleshooting, repair, and perform hands-on maintenance work.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems with machinery.
- Evaluate equipment reliability and take appropriate actions to improve performance.
- Provide mechanical expertise to reduce equipment downtime.
- Communicate successfully with other members of the maintenance team and ensure individual department managers are informed on equipment availability.
- Cross-train, learn and support other functions or processes as required.
Experience
- A minimum of five years' experience in industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles and procedures, including pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
- Practical experience in electrical and electro-mechanical repairs.
- Basic computer skills
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety procedures including 6 S’s.
- Multi-task and set priorities under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills.
