We are currently recruiting for a full time organized, enthusiastic candidate to join our maintenance team.
JOB DUTIES
Helps and assists maintenance mechanic, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturers' specifications, machinery, and mechanical equipment, such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyors systems, and production machines and equipment, using hand tools, power tools and precision-measuring and testing instruments.
- Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate cause of trouble.
- Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools.
- Repairs or replaces defective parts, using hand tools and power tools.
- Maintains equipment and lubricates and cleans parts.
- Cleans material from machine areas in preparation for repairs.
- Trains with Maintenance Mechanic to learn arc welding and use cutting torch.
- Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE
None.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Vocational High School Diploma or Technical School courses in machine repair preferred.
