Maintenance Manager (Housing) Job at SEBCO Development
If you enjoy the diversity of working in both an office and in the field with experience supervising and the capacity to lead a team, this Bronx Based Maintenance Company would like to hear from you! We are currently looking for a full-time Manager for our Maintenance Company located in the Bronx.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in executive level program planning, budgeting process, and resource management.
- Ability to deal with architects, engineers, construction personnel, and professional tradespeople
- Extensive knowledge with writing job scopes for sub-contractors
- Proven track record of leading successful teams and reducing costs through processes and efficiencies
- Experience in hiring contractors and job billing
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Experience writing job pricing proposals
- Strong PC skills required including Word, Excel, and QuickBooks
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
- 7-10 years progressive experience
- Management experience required
Must have a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and Local laws, ordinances, statutes, regulations, rules, policies and procedures related to the area of responsibility. OSHA certification and/or understanding of safety procedures a necessity
