Maintenance Electrician - 1st shift - Bryan Job at Arrow Tru-Line, Inc.
MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN
There is currently an opening on 1st shift at our facility in
BRYAN, OH
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Test electrical systems and circuits in equipment, machine controls or fixtures.
- Inspect/repair electrical systems, equipment, or components to eliminate hazards/defects.
- Troubleshoot, program and upgrade Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
- Work with vendors to identify needed parts and make recommendations to supervisor.
- Read, understand, and update instrumentation loop diagrams, E & I drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Program AC & DC variable speed drivers.
- Update power distribution system, MCC and switch gears.
- Design and install electrical equipment.
Skills and experience should involve:
- Familiarity with lock-out/tag-out procedures.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and work with precision.
- Skilled at planning and organizing daily workload effectively.
- Great communication skills, along with the ability to diagnose and solve problems.
- Able to contribute positively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated and confident juggling multiple priorities with minimum supervision.
- An associate degree in Industrial Electro-Mechanical preferred.
Other requirements:
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime and to be on-call to support 24/7 operations.
- Have 4-5 years of Electrician work experience in an Industrial/Manufacturing environment.
- Desire to join a fast-paced, high performing team with a get-the-job-done attitude.
- Must have High School Diploma or GED.
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
