Summary:

Coordinate the dispatching of service calls and support the Maintenance Technicians in their daily tasks. Responsible for reviewing and analyzing repair and maintenance expenses as required. Working with the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Manager, Develops and implements new technologies, including, but not limited to, equipment types and standards, computer hardware and software needs; develops, implements, manages and tracks the effectiveness of proactive field maintenance programs; reviews, researches and advises management of technological advancements associated with field maintenance programs, electronic monitoring devices, fuel dispensing equipment, HVAC equipment, food service related equipment and warranties. Must demonstrate the ability to apply critical thinking to complete tasks, have an eye for detail, and demonstrate an understanding of customer service etiquette.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures service calls are dispatched and completed according to pre-determined service call response protocol
  • Takes necessary steps to Triage calls internally before dispatching to external service providers
  • Develops and manages proactive field maintenance programs, including, but not limited to, scheduling events, evaluating the effectiveness of the activities and reporting
  • Working with Management Manages miscellaneous maintenance projects, including, but not limited to, development of bid specifications, bid review, and execution thereof
  • Manages and coordinates various equipment rollouts and equipment tests within area of responsibility. Works in conjunction with other departments as needed.
  • Negotiates terms and conditions of equipment and service contracts, and Makes recommendations to Management
  • Technical liaison for Corporate Maintenance, Store Support, and Field Maintenance Team. Assists in resolving the highest level of related issues as well as assisting in implementing procedures for the corrective actions as directed by Management
  • Reviews service providers to determine if/when a service contract should be renewed with the current provider for maintenance related services. Evaluates new service providers and develops programs to self-perform maintenance activities
  • Reviews, recommends and develops departmental policies, practices and procedures
  • Provides advanced support in the operation of the Company assets during emergency situations
  • On call as determined by Maintenance Manager
  • Completes other duties, including invoice administration, material requisition, vendor management, and special projects as assigned by Management

Education Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in Business, IT, Engineering or related field of study or equivalent education and experience


Experience Requirements:

  • 3 years Retail Facility Management Experience preferred
  • Experience with Facility Management Software preferred

Skill Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise with Word, Excel, and other MS Office suite applications
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to research and resolve issues
  • Good understanding of intra-department functions and operations
  • Excellent organizational skills
