Maintenance and Custodial Tech Job at Stateline Family YMCA
Do you have a need to give back to the community? Stateline Family YMCA is currently hiring a part-time Maintenance and Custodial Technician. Join a forward-thinking non-profit organization in furthering our mission to provide programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. Current needing 15 hours a week covered.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Occasional Painting
- Drywall repair
- Help with keeping the Y clean as needed
- Operates related motorized and non-motorized equipment
- Records and reports all needed repairs; repairs as directed
- Ensures YMCA building and property is secure during shift and report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
- Replaces soap, paper towels, and other supplies
- May set up furniture for events
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
- Six months or more related experience required
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Skills
- CPR, First Aid and AED certification and/or experience a plus
- Basic understanding of the upkeep and care of equipment
- Understanding of cleaning compounds and chemicals, including safe handling and use
