JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for prioritizing and performing a variety of complex secondary operations requiring advanced skill application within the Machine Shop.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Ability to read and understand blueprints to determine specific fabrication requirements.
• Perform a wide variety of complex secondary operations within the manufacturing process.
• Utilize advanced inspection techniques and equipment to ensure completed parts and operations are within the specified tolerances.
• Balance multiple competing priorities to ensure work is completed on schedule as efficiently as possible.
• Demonstrate flexibility by performing multiple operations or operating a variety of equipment as workload dictates.
• Maintain equipment and surrounding work area in a clean and organized condition in accordance with the 5S standards.
• Demonstrate a willingness to expand skillset by pursuing training opportunities.
• Responsible for complying with all safety policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma / GED required

• Minimum of 2 years of experience performing secondary machining operations
