Location: Clearwater, FL

Overnight shift: Monday to Friday 6 AM - 3 PM

Pay: $17/hr

About the position:

Assist with the preparation of parts at different stages of the machining process, so they are ready for assembly.

Job Duties include, but not limited to:

• Operate the CNC Saw and cut aluminum bars into smaller pieces for the Mills and Lathes.
• Metal cleaning: Clean different types of metal (mostly aluminum) with chemical cleaners.
• Deburring: clean small machined parts by demurring rough edges to make a smooth from the cuts made by the CNC machines.
• Polish: Use a polisher to bring a smooth, mirror-like finish to the materials and parts. This will also include high-end stainless steel lights before they are shipped out.
• Grinding: Take down material or smooth out welds or surfaces to be welded at multiple stages of the manufacturing process.
• Maintaining work space and assigned tools clean and orderly.
• Help clean and organize the machine shop.
• Observe and follow safety rules and regulations specific to your work area.
• Will be required to support other areas in the machine shop occasionally, loading / unloading raw aluminum parts, cleaning parts for machining

Required experience & qualifications:

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Skilled in shop math, able to read schematics / blueprints
• Experience on welding preparation.
• Skilled with power tools such as polisher and grinder.
• Must be reliable and accountable - your position supports the machine shop.
• Good communication and positive attitude.

​​​​​​​Physical Demands:

Must have ability to lift, carry, and stack product weighing between 35 and 45 pounds. The ability to stand up to a total of 8 hours, with breaks while occasionally bending, stooping, and twisting and do repetitive work fo 2 to 4 hours at a time.

Hours, compensation and benefits:

First Shift, Monday through Friday 6:00 AM to 3:00PM with two paid 15-minute breaks and a full un-paid lunch hour.

Compensation for this position begins at $17.00 per hour, negotiable based on experience and skillset.

After 60-day waiting period employees become eligible for Medical, Dental and Vision insurance, paid holidays and paid time off that increase with longevity.
