Start a career with Ricoh Electronics, Inc. (REI) and develop your skills working as a Machine Operator IMS Process II. We are looking for Day rotating shift (6 am-6 pm) operators to work in our Thermal Coating department and become an integral part of our team!
Responsibilities include:
Under general supervision,the Machine Operator performs production activities, which require a working knowledge of various chemical processes, operations and machines. Sets-up and operates multiple machines and equipment for production operations, including load and unload rolls of raw and process materials, may assist lower level workers with these processes. Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. Oversees and monitors to ensure quality and performs verifications and inspections of product. Assists in the training of new employees and aids employees with questions regarding work standards. Documents all department functions daily, by keeping accurate and up-to-date batch records and data sheets on batches in process. Performs minor troubleshooting and maintenance to equipment. Maintain inventory records on raw materials used in batch processing.
Report abnormalities to supervisor, such as quality defects, equipment malfunctions, accidents etc. Perform moderately complex product change over activities. Break down machines for clean up. Weigh, measure, check and combine raw materials following specified formulas and methods.

Qualified candidates will possess:
  • Minimum of 2+ years of related experience.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Complies with all company/ group/ division/ department standards and policies.
  • Speaks and understands English.
  • Basic knowledge of ISO 9000 Quality Management System and ISO 14000 requirements preferred
  • Able to use handheld tools
  • Knowledgeble with measurement tools
