Employment Solutions is looking to add a Machine Operator in Somers & Ellington!
- Hours: 10:30pm – 7am, Sunday through Thursday, 6:30am-3:00pm Saturday & Sunday
- Pay: $18/hourly
- Location: Ellington, CT & Somers, CT
Machine Operator Description:
Manufacture products according to the procedures and guidelines. Responsible for Supervision and set up of a production line. Responsible for the operation of equipment on a production line.
Machine Operator Duties and responsibilities:
- Supervise Production set up at the start of production day
- Supervise and help Prepare machines to run production making sure all equipment and safety devices are operational and equipment is running at proper specifications.
- Coordinate with warehouse preparation to ensure raw materials and delivered.
- Inputs raw materials and checks for continued accuracy and quality of output. Performs output spot checks.
- Maintains line to ensure an end-to-end production of the product within specifications through to handoff to the packing department
- Coordinate with maintenance to resolve line problems
Supervises single line during production and personnel working on that line
Machine Operator Experience/Education:
- Manufacturing safety protocols.
- 1 to 2 years experience in machine operation is a plus
- 6 Months experience and demonstrated high performance in entry-level Machine/Line operations role
- High School or GED
- Proficient in English - written and spoken
- Basic Math skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
