About your new role:

This is a great role to directly impact the quality of thermoformed product used in the medical industry. The Machine Operator is the primary accountable for the quality of our product and efficiency of our processes. As a Machine Operator you will perform the essential role of changeover, setting-up, running, monitoring and improving our proprietary equipment and manufacturing process. You will also set and maintain tooling and dies. Our Machine Operators work independently following company procedures while strongly interacting with our Inspector Packers to make sure that quality standards are met and customer orders are delivered on-time.

The knowledge we will help you obtain will allow you to use your current strong skills in the thermoforming process. Making use of multiple resources you’ll precisely run and work confidently on multiple machines at the same time while interacting with plant-wide resources to achieve our high quality standards. You will develop skills to work safely, while leading the 6S efforts in your area of responsibility.

What you need:

• Associate or technical degree in instrumentation, electricity, electronics, industrial mechanics, or similar area of expertise.
• Strong mathematics, analytical and troubleshooting skills and strong mechanical aptitude. Passing mathematical and mechanical aptitude tests are required in order to be considered.
• Must have attention to detail while working multiple machines/priorities concurrently, in a fast, high performance pace.
• Must be able to work under minimal supervision to troubleshoot and solve moderate to complex problems related to manufacturing process and machinery.
• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Capable of standing and being actively involved at the machine for the length of the scheduled shift. Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. will be occasionally needed. Must be well versed in the operation of general machinery and willing to use a forklift.
• Computer skills. Must have basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel and Outlook). Must be able to operate manufacturing management software.
• Use good judgment in general manufacturing floor decisions.
• Projects a good image to other employees through performance, behavior, attendance, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Must be bilingual, English/Spanish.
• Must have shift hours and assignment flexibility.

Your hours:

This is a shift flexible position. The incumbent must have flexibility to work in any shift (24 hrs.), and work overtime after shift or weekends as per operational needs.
