Here at Lakeside Foods, our Machine Operations team is the backbone of our packaging operations, ensuring that equipment runs optimally, while maintaining product flow. Machine Operators are respected team members responsible for operating packaging machines, metal detectors, check weighers, case sealers and all associated line equipment. They are also responsible for set up of equipment and making any adjustments necessary to keep the line operating efficiently. Entry level position for all line operations…. What You’ll Do:
- Direct crews up to eight people
- Operate filling equipment and all other equipment associated with line operations:
- Make minor mechanical repairs on all packaging equipment including metal detectors, check weighers, pack off equipment, incline conveyors, sealing and
- Maintain weights, codes and seals within customer specifications.
- Observe carton filling, carton sealing and pallet condition to insure they are within customer specifications. This includes case codes.
What You’ll Bring:
- One (1) to Three (3) months related experience operating machines
- Must possess mechanical aptitude in basic machine maintenance and repair.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred
- Willingness to learn
