Chelsea Milling Company, maker of “Jiffy” baking mixes, is currently seeking qualified Machine Maintenance Technicians. Our facility includes state-of-the art machinery to include robotics, PLCs, pneumatic systems, and other proprietary operating systems. Candidates with good fundamental knowledge will receive Rockwell Automation PLC training for new custom equipment.
The Machine Maintenance Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining multiple machines. The Technician will be responsible for making adjustments (which includes HMI programing/settings), performing predictive and preventative maintenance on all equipment according to the machine design standards, as well as utilizing electronic maintenance systems for predictive and preventative maintenance tracking. Equipment includes mechanical packaging machines, robotic case packers, robotic bag fillers, pouch fillers, conveyors, etc. Prior mechanical experience required. Packaging machinery maintenance background a plus.Electrical and PLC experience, and skilled trades certification/education are a plus.
Chelsea Milling Company offers a reasonable work schedule that supports work/life balance. Weekend overtime is limited and mostly happens in the fall.

Pay: $30.40 per hour
