We are looking for a Retail Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service for our high end fashion boutique inside of the Four Seasons hotel of Beverly Hills. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. A familiarity with the brands we carry such as MOTHER, Citizens of Humanity, Re/Done, NAADAM, Aviator Nation, and more is strongly encouraged. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s overall profitability.

With the internal Wheat 1.17 product line, which includes luxury loungewear, candles, and fragrance, there is also opportunity to grow within the company! Previous clothing retail experience is preferred, and individuals must have experience in operating a cash register POS system, basic inventory and restocking tasks, as well as light cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and make them feel welcomed
• Provide accurate information (e.g. product features and pricing)
• Answer customers’ questions about specific products/items
• Ensure racks are fully stocked and always tidy
• Manage exchanges of merchandise if it should arise
• Be an independent, self-motivated individual who doesn't mind stretches of working solo in a beautiful 5 star luxury hotel atmosphere
• Provide daily recap feedback to the LA team in end of shift emails and store photos

Skills

• Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Associate or similar role
• Understanding of the retail sales process (greeting, assisting, and checking out guests in store)
• Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
• Track daily sales and count high dollar inventory on hand
• Excellent communication skills, and capable of building relationships
• Ability to perform solo in a small boutique atmosphere
• Flexibility to work weekends (shift is 1030am-730pm daily)
• High school degree
• BA in Fashion, Merchandizing, or related field not required, but is a plus!
