The Midway Motors Auto Group is seeking a Car Wash/Porter at our McPherson location to clean new and previously used vehicles. Adheres to the descriptive estimates and work time prescribed by the dealer.
Job Description Role and Responsibilities

• Washes the outsides of the vehicles, washes the windows inside and outside and wipes the hold-open mechanisms.
• Vacuums the vehicles inside to remove dust and debris.
• Inspects the vehicles to detect any visible defects, such as bumps, scratches and torn upholstery.
• Wears appropriate safety gear to protect his/her eyes, hands and body when using any hazardous products.
• Ensures that the show room and the vehicles in stock are clean and in good condition at all times.
• Brushes the snow off the vehicles in the dealership parking lot, as requested.
• Re-parks the vehicles in the parking lot, as requested.
• Ensures that the shop is clean and tidy.
• Uses all tools and equipment carefully.
• Reports any safety issues to management as soon as possible.
• Maintains a professional appearance.
• Performs other tasks, based on management requirements and instructions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, Certifications, licenses)

• 0-3 months related experience
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
• Minimum age of 16 years old
• Ability to wear safety equipment required for the position

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Automotive industry experience
• Utilization of equipment required for the position
• Attention to detail
• Demonstrate dependability and integrity
• Customer-focused with the ability to communicate directly with customers, vendors and employees
