Tasks and responsibilities

- Order processing management
- Active participation in project developments.
- Contracts and rates active verification.
- Customer order analysis
- Planning / Booking / Transportation orders
- Coordination/follow up of the shipments
- Customs processing
- Documentation/administration/filing/invoicing
- Follow up and Feedback to the customer (internal and external reporting of the shipments to the customer) by various means (mail, fax, electronic data interchange)
- Operational troubleshooting
- Non-conformance reporting in accordance with the KPI’s.
- Trouble shooting problems, coordinating, and communicating shipment details with both customer and vendors
- Documentation of shipment details for reports, vendor payments, & invoicing
- Coordination with approved vendors in accordance with agreed rates
- End to end processing & equipment tracking
- Punctual and flawless order handling and documentation
Exemption Type: Exempt (Salaried)
Job Requirements: Required skills
- +3 years of detailed experience of logistics and forwarding operations/regulations and documentation.
- Preferable a professional degree by a licensed educational institution specialized in logistics and forwarding.
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Software applications and /or other market leading software applications.
- TMS system experience
- Initiative and strong sense for organization in order to meet customer requirements.
- Extended (export/import) customs procedure knowledge is necessary.
- Bulk liquid experience strongly preferred.
