Freight forwarding company is looking for Logistics Clerk in McAllen, TX.

Location: McAllen, TX
Position: Logistics Clerk
Pay: $35K or up DOE
Hours: M-F 8:00am – 5:00pm
Language: English (Japanese is a plus)
Education and/or Experience : 1 year Logistics Experience required
Job Description:
- Support the Trade Compliance Logistics team with Daily task. Work with Freight forwarders, brokers,
U.S. Customs and transportation groups. Address any issues related to the Clerical and or Record
keeping task as needed, i.e., U.S. Customs problems, special documentation, etc.
Evaluate the best method / Location for Record Keeping and implement.
Handle ocean freight records and documents.
Participate in international logistic meetings.
Warehouse related activities and documentation as needed.
Monitor and support Damaged Freight documents, record keeping and filing as needed.
Provide clerical support to the Senior Supervisor, Logistics Coordinator and Trade Compliance Manager
as needed.
Create reports as needed.
Perform other related activates as required by Supervisor
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Required Experience: Minimum of one (1) year Domestic / International Logistics experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $35,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
