Top 3 Responsibilities:

  • Deliver WOW service from contact to close
  • Handle 90% of issues/problems/successes from first contact to close
  • Manage loan pipeline ensuring we’re on track to close on time

Job Duties:

  • Complete checklist on all files and adhere to company time frames
  • Call, text, and email clients to obtain conditions
  • Be experienced with CRM's and updating client notes
  • Maintain pipelines and hit metrics
  • Schedule all loan officer appointments, including new leads and pre-approval appointments
  • Be willing and able to complete pre-approval appointments
  • Keep referral sources updated throughout the pre-approval process and under contract updates.
  • Build rapport and keep referrals communicating at a high level
  • Meet with clients as needed to sign loan applications and disclosures
  • Submit all files under contract to processing within 48 hours of contract receipt
  • Understand and research all investor guidelines.
  • Stay up to date on program changes that affect processing and originations
  • Submit complete files to processing based on investor/AUS requirements
  • Clear any conditions that require communication to clients
  • Communicate information pertaining to client/property to meet closing dates with the team
  • Take responsibility for weekly status report preparation (Pipeline Report)
  • Assist LO with other administrative and/or sales duties as needed
  • Quote rates and lock loans
  • Solve escrow issues without involving LO
  • Confirm signing appointments with borrowers and add to team calendar
  • Consistently exceed client expectations as well as realtor/builder expectations
  • Setup files using LO checklist for pre-approvals and under contract files
  • Review all closing statements and correct discrepancies
  • Assist LO with scenarios for prospective clients
  • Continue to assume additional responsibilities and help the team grow
  • Be coachable and be willing to grow and learn
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Be available to work overtime and weekends if needed
  • Demonstrate strong math, analytical and problem solving skills

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Registered and licensed through NMLS
  • Minimum three to five years of mortgage processing, originating, underwriting or combination of all aspects
  • Able to work 40 hours a week in-office between the hours of 8:30 am and 5:00 pm Will worked rotating and scheduled weekends
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have a positive attitude
  • Dependable, self-motivated and require minimal supervision
  • Have a solid knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA and jumbo loan underwriting guidelines
  • Able to problem solve and prioritize tasks
  • Become proficient with correspondent guidelines and pricing engines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Encompass360 Loan Origination Software
  • Currently licensed or desire to become a licensed Loan Originator through NMLS

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

  • May sit/stand for long periods of time
  • May spend time traveling

Pay: $51,208.84 - $335,997.03 per year
