PROMOTION OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE
Our special event rental company is seeking full-time and part-time Linen Processor in our warehouse / linen department.
Linen Processor work as part of the Warehouse Operations Team. This job involves: sorting, washing, pressing, and stocking table linen. Along with also updating records and paperwork.
Responsibilities may include:
- Operate washing machine and commercial Linen press.
- Wash and press articles, such as table linen, napkins, chair covers, draperies etc.
- Organizing, planning and prioritize work.
- Examine and sort linen to be cleaned according to color, fabric, spots, and cleaning technique required
- Hanging pressed table linen in our linen room facility
- Getting orders ready for delivery.
- Use professional communication methods and techniques to include maintaining positive and professional language and demeanor.
- Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status
Requirements/Experience Required:
- 18 years of age or older
- Experience in a laundry / linen facility a + (recommended)
- Complete criminal background check and drug test
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Customer service oriented
- Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
