Transitions Healthcare Oakland Manor is currently hiring a Line Cook/Prep Cook at our Assisted Living Facility located in Sykesville, MD.
We have a need on our 6am-230pm shift and our 11am-7pm shift.

Line Cook/Dietary Aide Minimum Qualifications
-Experience as a Cook in an Assisted Living Home, Nursing facility, or preparation of foods in high quantities.
-Possess and display a genuine caring for; an interest in, maintaining and enhancing a positive physical, emotional, and psychological environment for residents, visitors, and personnel.
Line Cook/Prep Cook Job Highlights:
- Prepare and serve food and alternates using standardized recipes for regular and therapeutic diets in proper quantities according to planned menu, temperature, production schedule, and diet preference.
-Prepares, stores, and disposes of food using proper food handling, labeling, temperature control and safety techniques according to facility and regulatory guidelines.
-Ensures that food is served in an attractive, appetizing manner.
-Responsible for the opening and/or closing of kitchen.
-Maintain proper temperature food of during preparation and service and records food temperatures according to facility and regulatory standards.
