RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As the Life Enrichment Manager, you will plan, develop, organize, implement and perform activities that stimulate the physical, mental and psychosocial well-being of each resident.
  • Oversee a team of Life Enrichment Assistants including scheduling their hours, activities and evaluating their performance.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with our residents through one-on-one time spent with them individually and in a group setting.
  • Assess resident’s activity participation and development. Schedule off-campus group activities.
  • Be a cheerful, compassionate and friendly face at all times.

Qualifications


QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of two years of college. Degree preferred, but not necessary.
  • The Life Enrichment Manager candidate will be a qualified therapeutic recreations specialist or an activities professional with a license in the state of MN and/or is eligible for certification as a recreations specialist or activities professional.
  • Will have a minimum of two years’ experience in a social or recreation program within the last five years.
  • One-year experience as a full time activities specialist in a healthcare setting.
  • The Life Enrichment Manager will be a qualified occupational therapist or assistant.
  • Will have dementia care services specialized training.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
